This new 2024 Western Star 49X with a Galfab 60k Outside Rail Roll Off is equipped with a 470HP Detroit DD13 Engine, Allison Automatic 4500RDS transmission, 3.73 rear ratio, 20,000 pound front axle and a 46,000 pound tandem. The 60k Outside Rail hoist had inside and outside controls and is capable of handling containers up to 22ft. in length. It uses a strapping system to secure the container to the truck. For added security this unit includes “The Hooker” securement system. It’s patented pneumatic design lets you lock down your container at the push of a button.
