This 2024 Western Star 49X comes set up as a tri-axle dump truck built for heavy vocational work. Under the hood is a Detroit DD16 rated at 560 hp, backed by an Allison 4500 RDS automatic transmission with PTO, so the operator isn’t working a clutch through a full day of load cycles.
