This 2027 Western Star 49X tri-axle roll-off pairs a Galfab 75K outside rail hoist with a chassis spec’d for construction and dry bulk work. The OR75 is rated at 75,000 lbs. with a 174 in. hoist length and takes containers from 18 ft. to 22 ft. Forward mounted single stage lift cylinders, Galfab’s electronic controls, and a 5-section Parker hydraulic valve keep loading simple, and the Hooker container securement system, located between the tandems, locks the can down without climbing up to strap it. A set of nylon ratchets, a tarp support, an auto fold ICC bumper, steel tandem fenders, and a 48 in. steel front load toolbox round out the body.

Power comes from a Detroit DD13 Gen 5 making 470 HP and 1,650 lb-ft of torque, backed by an Allison 4500 RDS automatic with a Chelsea 281 series PTO and a Jacobs engine brake. The chassis runs a 20,000 lb. front axle on taperleaf springs, a 46,000 lb. Meritor tandem on Hendrickson HAULMAAX EX suspension, and a Hendrickson 13,500 lb. steerable air-lift pusher to spread heavy loads legally. Driver-controlled traction differentials on both rear axles help in soft landfill and job site conditions, and the 3.73 ratio, 263 in. wheelbase, and aluminum wheels with 315/80R22.5 steers finish the setup.

Inside, the cab has an air ride driver seat with black Laredo leather seat covers, a 7 in. touchscreen radio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a factory CB radio, and cruise control.
