Built for demanding tree-care and forestry work, this 2026 Hino L6 combines proven Cummins/Allison power with a seriously built 22-cubic-yard SH Truck Bodies CB3000 chipper body and a work-ready towing and hydraulic package.
Powered by a 240-hp Cummins B6.7 diesel and Allison 2200 RDS 6-speed automatic, this 4×2 features air brakes, spring suspension, a 10,000-lb front axle, 19,000-lb rear axle and 5.57 rear axle ratio. That higher numerical axle ratio provides greater torque multiplication at the drive wheels, giving the truck stronger loaded startability and low-speed pulling performance when working with a chipper trailer.
