A Better Built Body
We’re excited to now offer U.S. Truck Body’s Aluminum Van truck bodies in 16-foot and 26-foot lengths, two of the most versatile sizes for a wide range of applications. Built with premium materials and refined through decades of evolution, this body is designed to stand up to tough use while maintaining a clean, professional appearance over time.
With options for different heights and widths, plus your choice of standard or fully custom interiors, doors, bumpers, and liftgates, we’ll help you configure the setup that works best for your operation. Let’s talk about how a 16’ or 26’ body can support your next move.
Features
Stainless Steel Rear Frame
A 12 gauge stainless steel rear frame comes standard on all truck bodies. All corners are internally reinforced for strength, as well as externally gusseted at the top corners. This frame will look good throughout the life of the body. No need to worry about chipping paint or corrosion.
One Of A Kind Roof
The unique two-piece roof-rail design increases overall strength and allows for easy roof replacement, if needed, without affecting the sidewall structure. Durable aluminum castings at each corner further enhance strength, while the front “zephyr” feature improves aerodynamics.
LED Clearance Lights
Brighter, longer lasting LED clearance lights are standard and are FMVSS-108 compliant. LED tail lights are also standard with the recessed taillight option.
DuraPlate Swing Doors
US Truck Body’s swing doors set an industry benchmark. Each door is custom-built using 13mm thick DuraPlate panels, chosen specifically for their toughness and durability. Stainless steel bar lock hardware, aluminum hinges, and replaceable stainless steel pins are added to create an exceptionally strong, corrosion-resistant door.
Corrosion Resistant Hardware
The swing doors are not the only part of the truck body with corrosion resistant hardware; all of the exterior is assembled with aluminum or stainless hardware. The extruded aluminum rub rails and secured using stainless steel bolts and
Superior Strength Front Wall
A seven post front wall construction is used along with heavy-duty extruded aluminum radius corners that don’t compromise strength. When scuff plate is optioned in, we extend it below the floor and weld to the front cross member to withstand abuse from forklifts.
Domestic Hardwood Floors
Only 1-1/8” or thicker laminated domestic hardwood is used in flooring, which run the full length of the body, to ensure durability. No need to worry about delamination or warping down the road.
Understructure & Undercoating
To protect from the harsh environment, the underside is coated with a durable weatherproof undercoating once the body is installed to seal the interior. Steel wheel pans are standard over wheel area unless the body is going on a tandem axle chassis.
