How to Solve Demolition and Disposal Logistics Issues

Businesses who perform major home improvements and renovations must dispose of their construction or demolition debris by bringing it to an approved facility, landfill, or by renting a dumpster. Some states offer landfill alternative services, specializing in commercial waste disposal service and recycling, but they can accept any types of material waste.

Equipment used to dispose of construction debris:

  1. Heavy-duty dump trucks that move large amounts of materials around or off construction sites.
  2. Dump trucks have a large container bucket in the back of the vehicle to load, transport, and dump material. They are used on construction sites, mining sites, agricultural sites, landscaping, roads, and highways.
  3. Cranes, such as the Effer knuckle-boom crane, consist of a hook, hoist, and crane arm that helps haul heavy loads of material. They can be fixed or mobile and are used on construction sites, shoreline sites, bridges, and in warehouses.
  4. Excavators have a bucket, arm, rotating crab, and tracks to help dig and excavate materials on construction sites, roads, highways, mining sites, and forestry sites.
  5. Skidders consist of a cable or grapple used to pull and drag logs on forestry sites. There are two types of skidders, cable skidders and grapple skidders.
  6. Skid Steer Loaders have lift arms that can attach to a variety of tools and are used on construction sites, mining sites, and warehouses.
  7. A logging equipment Forwarder does the work of collecting and transporting felled trees and logs. The articulated machines feature an enclosed operator cab, a long bed for wood, and a hydraulic arm with a claw-like attachment (called a grapple) that can grasp multiple trees at once. These serve the landscaping, construction, and forestry industries.

Did you know that you don’t have to pay for all of these pieces of equipment or deal with the logistical nightmare of transporting each of them to your job sites when one truck can perform many of these tasks?

The benefits of roll-off vehicles, such as our grapple trucks, eliminate the need to have multiple vehicles being used to do that same task. You can just drop your container that is filled then fill another container, thereby reducing the need for multiple trucks or types of equipment on a job site. This is great for quick jobs and jobs that you may not have need for a large staff presence to get a lot of heavy debris removed in a day. The truck can be also used to carry a skid steer to the scene of an accident. The skid steer loads the debris onto the container(s).

The vehicle comes complete with an E-Pak 20-foot container, providing ample space for transporting goods and materials. The ability to drop this container and attach a completely different body type, from compactors to flatbeds, really fills out the full versatility of this truck. You can have multiple containers and switch them out in seconds with the push of a button that has precision alignment built into it.
